“We had an absolutely amazing time at the Balinese cooking class. We were picked up by Rudi in Ubud and he was a fantastic driver, he taught us about Balinese culture and drove us up into the jungle which was incredible, seeing rice terraces and small villages on the way. When we arrived the location was incredible, tucked away in the jungle. All the staff were extremely attentive, had fantastic English and we got a tour of the gardens, picked our own fresh vegetables and were talked through how to cook each dish. “Amazing experience! The owner, Paon, is an absolute delight – full of personality, knowledge, and wonderful organization. I have an allergy to garlic, and since almost everything typically includes it, I was worried. But she went above and beyond, adapting every recipe without garlic or onions, and everything was still so delicious. The staff and the way the entire class is organized are simply incredible. I highly recommend this class!”

“We had a great experience at Ron's cooking class! Communication upfront was very professional (quick and in decent English). We got picked up and were warmly welcomed with coffee, tea and a local snack and got a quick tour around the estate. For the cooking they have a nice seperate space with all the tools you need. The menu is carefully thought through, so that you can easily learn to make some of the most well known traditional dishes from this area. And we got a lot of personal attention and help from Ron and his assistant. After about 2 hours of cooking we got to experience if we did…”

“Our driver picked us up and took us to his home. It was a traditional Balinese house in the beautiful countryside. All the ingredients we used were from his huge garden where he grew absolutely everything from lemongrass to bananas. His family were very friendly and showed us around their home set in a very rural tranquil setting. The food we cooked was amazing and we wrote down all the recipes to make the dishes again at home. It was a truly amazing experience to see Bali at its most authentic location. I would highly recommend this cooking class I can’t praise it enough.”
